Teenagers enjoy the most awesome holidays at Landal GreenParks

Parents with older children often find it more difficult to select a great holiday destination than those who have younger children. This is because teenagers want different things: plenty of sporting activities and opportunities for fun nights out, along with a place where they can meet others of the same age. When it comes to going on holiday with teenagers, many parents don’t even know where to begin. This was the conclusion reached by research into the search terms most commonly used in combination with the words ‘teenagers’ or ’adolescents’ in the Netherlands and Belgium.

All Landal GreenParks resorts offer guests a comprehensive Fun & Activities programme, comprising a varied selection of things for teenagers to do that changes each week (and each season). These range from active outdoor and sporting pursuits, educational workshops and clinics to fun parties where teenagers can just hang out and ‘chill’.

Various Landal GreenParks resorts offer sports fanatics the chance to visit a Sport Arena - a multifunctional sports field where they can play football, basketball, table tennis and volleyball to their heart’s content. There are also resorts with an escape room, or where teenagers can take an ice hockey, ‘fierljep’ (pole jumping over ditches) or SUP (stand-up paddle boarding) clinic. Other options include laser gaming, raft building and boot camps.

A number of parks have a dedicated host for teenagers who organises activities specially for them. In addition, many parks cooperate with operators in the surrounding area that offer various outdoor activities and challenges. Teenagers can take sailing, surfing or kitesurfing lessons at the Landal GreenParks water parks, and at Hof van Saksen, they can go down the largest indoor water slides in the world, or participate in an underwater scooter clinic. Landlubbers will enjoy tearing around on mountain bikes, riding BMX bikes, or having a go on go-karts or monster rollers.
