Landal GreenParks continues expansion with a new luxury resort in Drenthe: Landal PUUR Exloo
Landal GreenParks adds a luxury holiday destination in the province of Drenthe to its range. The luxury Landal PUUR Exloo is located about 15 km from Emmen in the beautiful surroundings of the Hondsrug hills, close to the dolmens and the Hondsrug UNESCO Geopark. The resort has been designed by Kontour Vastgoed and built by Koenen Bouw (both part of VolkerWessels). The high-quality resort situated amidst Drenthe’s picturesque scenery will be a great addition to Landal’s offer for lovers of luxury, peace and nature. The resort will welcome its first guests on 1 June 2020.
Landal PUUR Exloo is made up of 80 ultra-luxurious detached holiday villas with mostly thatched roofs and an exclusive interior. The 6-, 8- and 10-people villas have been built sustainably and are equipped with air source heat pumps and underfloor heating. All villas include a washing machine/tumble dryer, smart TV, Sonos sound system, free WiFi, sauna, sunshower/rainshower, and Quooker warm water supply in the kitchen.
The first part of the family resort is now available for rent. In total, the resort developed by Kontour Vastgoed will consist of 180 holiday homes. In the summer, the resort will host a range of new outdoor activities as well as sports and games facilities. ‘The Saber-Toothed Tiger Trail’, which starts at the resort, is an adventure track which allows children to test their climbing, jumping and balancing skills. With the aid of a VR headset, they can experience what the area might have looked like during the Ice Age.
