Landal De Reeuwijkse Plassen now available to book

On 23 December, Landal GreenParks will be opening a new holiday park with features that make it unique in terms of sustainability. Landal De Reeuwijkse Plassen is located right next to the Reeuwijkse Plassen, a group of lakes near to the city of Gouda, and consists of 270 waterfront holiday homes, each with its own jetty. Landal De Reeuwijkse Plassen will be the first holiday park in the Netherlands to generate its own renewable electricity. Bookings for stays at the park with arrival dates from 23 December onwards can be made from today.

The Reeuwijkse Plassen (Reeuwijk Lakes) are located in the middle of the region known as the 'Green Heart' of Holland and are surrounded by picturesque villages, historic farmhouses, windmills, ponds and lakes. Guests can choose between semi-detached waterfront holiday homes (sleeping 2, 4, 6 or 8) and detached waterfront holiday homes (sleeping 4, 6, 8 or 10). All of the holiday homes are right on the water and have their own jetty for mooring boats close to the accommodation. Central facilities include a reception area, covered swimming pool, indoor playground and ParkShop selling local produce. There is a nature play island outdoors and the park is situated right next to a recreational lake that has a small beach and is popular with windsurfers.

"Landal now has another great destination to offer its guests. This park is distinguished by the fantastic opportunities it offers for outdoor living and activities, and everything has been designed with the natural environment in mind. Guests can go out for bike rides, go sailing and have their lunch out on the lakes, go rambling, or visit nearby Gouda. And it takes just half an hour to reach the cities of The Hague, Rotterdam and Utrecht, too. This is going to be an extremely popular destination for our guests," commented Erik van Essen, Commercial Director for Landal GreenParks.

Landal De Reeuwijkse Plassen has been designed to be sustainable, with sustainable materials having been used for everything from the facilities in the park to the construction of the holiday homes and their fittings. In addition, this park will be the first in the Netherlands to generate its own renewable electricity.

It is now possible to book a stay at Landal De Reeuwijkse Plassen with arrival dates from 23 December onwards. See also www.landal.nl/reeuwijkseplassen.
